A classic favourite—No1 Mackerel in a rich, tangy tomato sauce, served over steaming rice and garnished with fresh onions for a bold, satisfying meal.

No1 Mackerel in Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
  • 1 x tin of No1 Mackerel in tomato sauce
  • 1/2 an onion
Method
  1. Open a can of mackerel in tomato sauce and place in a pan to heat
  2. Slice half an onion and add into the pan. Simmer until onions are cooked to preference.
  3. Serve on top of hot, plain and creamed rice.
