1914
Our founding year
Walter Randolph Carpenter founded W.R. Carpenter & Co. Ltd. in Sydney, Australia. The company engaged in shipping and trading island produce in Papua.
1919
PNG operations
The company expanded into New Guinea, establishing W.R. Carpenter & Co. (Papua New Guinea) Ltd., and began acquiring plantations, stores, and trading stations.
1934
Expanding operations
The company launched a direct shipping line between Australia, the Western Pacific, and European ports, expanding operations.
1950
Sigri Estate
Sigri Estate established, marking company entry into coffee cultivation in the Waghi Valley, Western Highlands Province.
2025 and beyond
An exciting future
